ABOUT ANTONIO CANAS

Antonio Cañas studied at the National Center of Arts (CENAR) mentored by renowned teachers Antonio Garc a Ponce and Tochimichi Nodu. He has exhibited in multiple individual and group exhibitions in Central America, Mexico and Canada. His work has been awarded nationally and internationally most notably the award of World Master by the World Masters Committee of South Korea in 2019, Most Creative by FORBES CENTROAM RICA Magazine, Creation Recognition by the Secretary of Art and Culture of the University of El Salvador (UES) 2019 and BEST OF SHOW at the American Art Awards in 2018. His work is part of the pertinent collection of the Museum of Art of El Salvador.
